MakeupAlley Review - Complexion Brightener
20 Aug 2011
The Omorovicza Complexion Brightener SPF20 is a great moisturiser and sunscreen all in one. I thought it was going to leave my face with a terrible white over cast that mineral sunscreens leave but I was pleasantly surprised as it does not. It does make the face look brighter and not white providing you don't over do it and use too much. I love to mix this with the Complexion Enhancer as I find the Complexion Enhancer to be far to dark for my fair skin but when both are mixed together I get the perfect skin colour match. At £82 for 30mls it quite expensive however when used with the Complexion Enhancer it makes it last longer. Both the Complexion Enhancer and Complexion Brightener are my favourite sun care products because they are light weight and are not greasy and have great overall performance. I just wish they did this in a 50ml size and also it was in airless packaging. I prefer to use a moisturiser underneath before using this. Some Days I do use this without the Complexion Enhancer it really depends on what mood I'm in or how much time I have. I will definitely be purchasing this again when it runs out, I couldn't be without it now.

MakeupAlley Review - Body Buffing Balm
26 Aug 2010
This is a very effective scrub but beware, it can be a bit harsh which is fine if you are looking for serious exfoliation. i found the trick to this product to apply to body before getting into the shower, rub into skin gently then get into shower and let warm water dissolve the mineral salts, allowing the benefits to penetrate most effectively. like a lot of the Omorovicza products, this is very versatile as the mud detoxifies and cleanses skin while the mineral sals lift dead skin and vitamins add nutrients. I use this before using self tanner.

Makeupalley Review - Queen Of Hungary Mist
27 Jul 2010
Why not a 5...because simply I don't believe in toners. I wouldn't give any toner a 5 as I believe this is the one product you can really do without.
That said...
I LOVE this stuff. I know it's likely not changing my skin or providing anti-aging benefits, etc. But it comes in a lovely spray bottle and it smells like absolute heaven. I get why the "original recipe" was a perfume of sorts, it really is lovely. It does pep me up. So much so that I have 2 bottles, one on my desk and one at home...I used to think that those Evian or other mineral water sprays felt lovely but this really takes it to a new level.
Expensive - yes. Certainly for something that isn't likely to make all the difference in your routine. But if you want to treat yourself, go for it. A month on, I'm still loving it as much as I loved it the first time after using it 60 times (twice a day)!

26 Feb 2010
I saw this in Oprah Magazine after I had already been introduced to Omorovicza. It said this was the best new body product on the market...as I love the copper peel I decided to try it..AMAZING...first of all, the smell. My husband calls it a natural af-row-dee-zi-ack..it is super hydrating and leaves a very subtle golden sheen to my skin (very subtle, elegant). I can see a real difference to my skin after using this just few days.

GREAT FOR THOSE 'ZOMBIE' MORNINGS
Some mornings I really look below par, and that is when Glam Glow comes to my rescue! The increase in colour is subtle (so no one can tell you have a tanning product on), but its ability to liven up my face is incredible. I wouldn't want to pass a winter without it.

I've been using this product for the last month now, and am thoroughly impressed with the results. I use it in the morning to prepare my skin for other products - it works wonders!

Since I found Omorovicza's eye cream, I use it in the morning, and in the evening as well. I have always had dark cicles under my eyes, and also could not deal with puffiness in the morning. This easily absorbing cream was the solution I was looking for! I look fresh and young. Thank you!

MakeupAlley Review - Balancing Moisturiser
4 Feb 2010
LOVE this moisturizer! It makes my face so radiant, dewey, rosy fresh and energized. I have combo oily skin that I treat with retinol and/or glycolic/lactic acids once or twice a week. I was looking for a good daytime moisturizer to protect and pamper my skin under spf and this is no ordinary moisturizer. Let's just say I never knew my skin was ruddy, sensitized, and on edge UNTIL this was applied on top of it. Wow what a difference. That's when you know you needed something you didn't even know you needed.

A GOLDEN SURPRISE!
This was bought for me as a Christmas present, and it certainly went down well! It's the first time I've used gold as part of my beauty regime, and it works wonders for my 'feel-good' factor. Luxury on a regular basis..
Apparently the gold is not just there for the tag line, but it also repairs and strengthens the skin. Its full of other good stuff too, and overall the effect on my skin has been wonderful - smooth and healthy looking. I recommend adding this gold to your life too!
By the way - great packaging too - very chic!

Girl-e Glasgow Review - Instant Plumping Cream
11 Jan 2010
Ever since I got a free sample of this stuff from Liberty in London, I've been obsessed. I have to admit, I find its scent a bit odd, but it works like magic on tired winter skin. It's so very expensive though (but only slightly expensive relative to other designer skincare brands), it would blow all of my January beauty budget, and then some. And some more. Essentially it costs about the same as a week of groceries for 2 people, so if I can just convince my husband we don't need to eat this week, I think I can swing it.

31 Dec 2009
I'm currently opening my second jar of this cleanser. It's wonderful. I wish it came in a tube, however, I do get every last drop out of the jar. Give and take I suppose. This cleanser must be removed with a warm cloth. It's not like other oil based cleansers that emulsify with water and rinse off. My face is always so soft, yet feels so clean after using this. I have had several Omorovicza facials and they actually remove eye make-up/mascara with this cleanser. Highly recommend.

I tell all my friends this is like La Mer with out the mineral oil and parabens. It is a dream cream! And unlike LM, it feels like it's actually moisturizing my skin and not just protecting it on the outside. Smells divine, but not too strong. Talk about a dewy face. It's my go-to cream for when I need a giant punch of moisture and comfort. My face will remain soft until I wash it again that night!

I'm about 75% through a bottle of this, as I also use the Gold Cream. I can not believe how much I LOVE this lotion. Usually I am a strict "cream" girl with my dry skin, but this does the trick. And, it doesn't leave my face greasy looking. When I use the Gold Cream, I'm certain to have to use a face powder to finish. It's incredible. I will run, not walk, to repurchase.

MakeupAlley Review - Deep Cleansing Mask
31 Dec 2009
Love this mask. It's purifying and soothing all at the same time. I really feel like the clay grabs out the ick, but whatever else is in it soothes my skin and it's super soft after removing. Of course, the jar blows. Really wish it was a tube. And it smells HORRIBLE. The first time I used it I thought I had used a sour towel or something. At least now it's not so alarming, I just deal with it.

Absolutely beautiful effect. Because of the line's ingredients everything you use already makes your skin so even toned, beautiful and supple. But with this tinted moisturizer you go a step further and are left with absolutely gorgeous luminous slightly bronzed dewey skin. Just fabulous. The only reason why I took off 1 lippie (4 out of 5) is because they really should have at least 1-2 more shades- I am lighter that the lighter shade and so wish I could use this product.

Second the last reviewer on this - on nights that I don't use this, I definitely see a difference. I have combo oily acne-prone skin so I usually only use this during the winer and sparingly during the summer, but each time I do my skin is exceptionally soft and even toned. I mix it with the Nia 24 Skin Strengthening cream in the PM about 2-3 times a week. It really is a fantastic all around night cream.

Beauty Snob Review - Rose Lifting Serum
7 Nov 2009
We discovered the Thermal Cleaning Balm (I just got my second jar-- this stuff is addictive) from Hungarian cult fave skincare Omorovicza last spring at Neiman Marcus and have been obsessed with the entire line ever since. I love standing at cosmetic counters playing with different creams and asking for samples-- it's the best way to test and learn about new products! What's even better than hanging out at the counters? Having the samples sent to your door to test :) Besides the Cleansing Balm (which all three of us love!) there are two products from Omorovicza that I just sampled-- the Gold Rescue Cream ($300) and the Rose Lifting Serum($180). There are a lot of products out there that address sagging skin and this one is mighty impressive. I don't recommend it for our younger snob readers but if you feel like you need a boost, this is worthy of a try.
Rose Lifting serum: Like its name suggests, the lightweight serum has a subtle scent of roses that I love. I massaged it upwards from my chest to the top of my forehead -- it is lightweight and goes into the skin smoothly (no peeling and does not have the sticky texture that many lifting products have). For use under make up during the day.

DELICIOUS!! This moisturizer feels like I am applying a shield against the world every morning. My morning routine, cleanse, apply facial serum, then Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturizer. It's more like a cream moisturizer, it's rich and thick so a little goes a long way. Immediately my skin feels soft & smooth and like I have a layer of protection. It's not this heavy curtain on my face; it just really feels like my face is covered. It's amazing! It locks in the moisture for the entire day. It's not heavy enough to block my pores either. It's not oily or greasy in the least & it totally does provide an illuminated look also. I have applied it on one side so you can see the difference; it's a sheer bright look that provides a nice healthy glow. It's very easy to fall in love with this -- my skin drinks it up and spits out smooth soft skin that hold my makeup in place without any slipping of my concealer or foundation. Luxurious journey for the visage on a daily basis!

Makeup Addict has found another reason to consider moving to Budapest!! My first thoughts of doing so were when I was using the Omorovicza Instant Plumping Cream (see reviews for that wonder)! I think it would be great to work for them and maybe get employee discounts. Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturizer is nothing less than the Instant Plumping Cream in its results. I am going to be very honest inasmuch as I believe that when you use the two of them in tandem -- you get incredible results. I am betting that you probably get terrific results when using just one -- but now that I have see the results when using both -- that is the way to go! Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturizer is a dream to apply and feels like nothing when it is on. It is just soaked up by the skin and goes to work immediately. You can almost see the skin getting the moisutre -- it is as soft as silk -- and so, so smooth. At the same time as I feel the skin around my jaw, etc. I can feel a firmness that was not there before. I realize these are costly products -- but you get what you pay for in these cases -- for sure!! Some companies have higher priced products that do less than less expensive ones. Omorovicza is NOT one of them. You will see your skin improve dramatically. You skin is moisturized, firmed, radiant, smooth, and plumped out which really does either decrease the lines and wrinkles or camoflages them so well. I actually think between these two products my face and neck seem more defined and -- actually more youthful appearing!! Viva Omorovicza!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Omorovicza: Where have you been hiding all of my life - or....okay, my life once I sailed past 35? I am enthralled by your magical plumping cream and now this...simply amazing moisturizer. It is youth in a bottle and I'm not sure I've used anything that has come close to matching its richness and results ever. Paired with the instant plumping cream I have seen results that are just glorious. Smooth, soft, hydrated, firmed, de-lined skin awaits with just a pea size amount. This moisturizer, for as hydrating and rich as it is, has never once made my face feel greasy or oily. It is perfect for the most sensitive skin if my skin is any indication - it truly is a luxury for my face, and I would honestly tell you that if you are willing to spend a little more on a moisturizer if it will produce results, then give this line a go. You will not be sorry. Just a flawless product in my opinion!

MakeupAlley Review - Gold Rescue Cream
24 Oct 2009
Wow this product is so great. Texture so creamy that melts on the skin. This helped my skin immensely. If I am not careful my skin becomes easily dehydrated. After trying out supposedly natural products (ex Ren, Marie Veronique, Patyka) I experienced so much blemishes and dehydration. My skin was crying out for a boost. So I went back using Omorovicza products. The texture of the cream is quite rich and only a pea size is required. I intend to use it periodically; example when the weather changes, but I think it is great for mature skin which can use the product all year round.
It hydrates the skin intensely and my skin really glows. All Omorovicza products are my staples.

I can't contain myself about this one any longer. This is AMAZING and after the first night's use the AM showed me a plump skin that looked awesome. It's like the best night of beauty sleep over and over. I wake up and want to look in the mirror not shy away. I thnk that the creators really knew exactly what end result they had to achieve and settled for nothing less.. Thank you to Stephen & Margaret for giving me the opportunity to actually feel better about aging. I have been using this in the evening for the past week and, Oh my, am I impressed.. It really does firm & tighten up my face and makes me feel like I made a trip to Dr. 90210. My skin is deeply hydrated & soft each AM. I use a small amount on me entire face and pull to my neck; if I had enough I would pull down to my toes. I apply to freshly cleaned skin. It's a luxurious cream that goes on like liquid gold. It absorbs really quickly. I pretty much sprint to get in bed and start counting sheep. I swear that dull tired look of the transition into fall / winter is gone. My face has really made a positive change just from this cream. Now I understand why it's priced at $260.00!! Now that I have it, I will beg, borrow & steal if I have to. I wrote my first letter to Santa in a long time asking for club store sized containers! I think trying is believing so if you are on a quest for an amazing product that plumps up the skin and gives it a renewed vitality then look no further. I am seriously in awe of the Omorovicza line. It really amazed. If you know someone who is down about aging and needs a pick up- this is it! They will love you forever and ever! It helps to fill in all the lines and little voids that Father Time leaves behind. It's the 'fresh from the spa' look & guess what I just rolled out of bed to get it!

Makeup Addict cannot pronounce it - but, Omorovicza Instant Plumping Cream is honestly like your own personal 'Fountain of Youth' in a jar. I cannot believe I am saying this -- but after just one night's use with this -- I knew it was for real. I actually go right to the mirror in the morning to see that the improvements are still there -- that they were not a dream. This is like my face and neck's favorite treat -- they are loving it. They soak it up immediately and let it go to work. It plumps out the skin so well while filling in those crevices I call lines. I have definitely fallen in love completely with Omorovicza Instant Plumping Cream - it is so totally transforming for my skin. I believe that my skin feels younger -- in addition to feeling soft and smooth -- while nice and firm. I know what it felt like before and the improvement is nothing less than incredible. I am thinking of moving to Budapest in the hopes of finding a job for Omorovicza . Maybe employees get a good discount. At any rate -- I agree with Cakedoo 1 and it is on my list for the Holidays -- that is the list for me. . . not for me to give someone. I am greedy and I want it all for myself. It reminds me of (I believe it was Joe Namath's book) -- I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow As I Get Better Looking Every Day. I cannot wait until tomorrow as my skin gets better every day -- withOmorovicza!!!!!!!!

How do I add to what the ladies are saying above? They are telling you the real deal about this product, people. It is just as described. Mornings since turning 40 have not been all that kind to me...there are times when I look in the mirror and pray it doesn't crack, or try to run. I have used so many different night creams in the hopes of some kind of morning reprieve. There have been very few that I would call effective. THIS, I would call effective. Smooth as silk skin, plumped eye and forehead area, tighter more refined skin....all for me in the a.m. I may have to run up in my attic and see if there's a scary portrait in there because I'm telling you, my skin has responded so well to this cream, it's unbelievable. I know it's got a pricetag....but to be honest, I have shelled out big bucks for highly regarded "miracle" creams only to be left disappointed and feeling duped. Omorovicza does NOT disappoint. At all. I have relegated this to holy grail status and will find a way to not be without it. Smooth, plump, restored, hydrated skin is just a night's sleep away. Top of the line product and worth every penny.

Gold Rescue Cream - An amazingly rich and hydrating cream with real gold, Omega 6 ceramide and other powerful ingredients that make even the most dehydrated and wrinkled skin youthful. This is very rich and is best warmed in the palm of your hand before pressing into the decolletage, neck and face. It is too heavy for me during the day but at night it will be a nice cream to switch to during seasonal changes or while traveling. Best for mature skin.

MakeupAlley Review - Complexion Enhancer
12 Jul 2009
This is kind of like a tinted moisturiser, only adds a very subtle hint of colour which blends invisibly into the skin - it looks like you have nothing on. The texture is a light cream/liquid, quite refreshing feel. If you are looking for something sheer, natural and lightweight, then this fits the bill. I am NC40/42 in MAC and found that the light shade is actually perfect, as it just blends into the skin, I would imagine it would work for a variety of skin tones as it is rather invisible. I use this around the eyes too. This provides hardly any coverage (I have quite a few acne marks) so I do use my mineral foundation on top; but on good skin days I use this and some translucent mineral powder on top and I'm done. I do use a little moisturiser underneath (I have normal-combination, acne prone skin), but I have tried without and it is actually fine. It is packed with lots of natural ingredients which I love, and my skin has not reacted badly with it in any way. This product comes in a glass bottle with a pump. It is so expensive, I bought it off beautique.com for £72 for 50ml (I did get a nice 6 piece Omorovicza gift with it as well and 5% off). I have never paid this much for a single beauty item before, but it is very pleasant to use (there are probably lots of products for less that do a similar job). I would still be tempted to repurchase once I run out.

Beauty Snob Review - Thermal Cleansing Balm

This is one of those things that when you see it you just have to try it. This Cleansing Balm looks like black mud but it is not a mask, it dissolves into an oil that thoroughly cleans your skin and leaves your skin moisturized and enriched with minerals and vitamins. It is made of Hungarian thermal mud and Hungarian healing water, which are both rich in minerals and allows a deep pore cleanse, drawing out all the gunk and impurities. And it takes off makeup like you would not believe. You start on the cheeks and work in a circular motion to break down the balm, once it is oily, you work it up to your eyes and it will remove anything you have on, including stubborn waterproof mascara. This is meant as a one step process, you clean your face with this and wipe, not wash, it off leaving all the oils and minerals behind as a treatment for the skin. The instructions says to wash with water but the SA told me to leave it on. I don't like the idea of makeup traces left behind, so I am opting for the wash with water route. Everything about this is really incredible and I highly recommend it, except, it is really pricey, a jar of this stuff is $102 and if you wear makeup everyday, or even if you don't and just want to use this daily, you can go through this in a month.

I really like this really rich cream. They say this is unusually rich yet easily absorbed, is a very true statement, it is just that. The first time I tried it I found it be extremely thick, when I applied it to my skin I thought it was clogging and heavy, but once applied it just sinks in and gets completely absorbed, leaving my skin feeling moisturised and nourished. Its great and as an added bonus its alcohol free. If you have dry mature skin then this would be perfect for you. If you have oily or spotty skin I'd avoid it.

I love this mask. I tried it in an Omorovicza facial in Harvey Nichols in May 2007. Its a great product, its really good for calming down red skin. The smell is quite peppery and its great to apply. It doesn't dry rock hard like most clay masks which is good for older skin, and it has a hydrating effect. When I use this mask it leaves my skin glowing and gorgeous, its amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is the price but if used once a week it lasts ages! Another thing I love about this mask is it doesn't contain alcohol. This is my favourite mask as well as the organic apoteke detox mask!

MakeupAlley Review - Instant Plumping Cream
13 Apr 2009
This plumping cream is more of a balm than a cream as it melts on skin contact. It feels nice and hydrating however it doesn't plump up my fine lines but I do like it despite this. I do think its like a filler (Hyaluronic filling spheres), but I don't understand why they advise you to use this at night as you'd probably wash it off in the morning. It has got some advanced anti ageing ingredients which I think is good, however there are better products than this on the market. I think they should call it a plumping balm not cream. I would buy it again if it were cheaper.

I used this cream in winter 2007. I really like it, it smells like almonds, probably because it has hazel nut peptides in it. It's quite rich so it's excellent for hydrating dry skin types. One thing I've noticed about Omorovicza products is how good they are for dry skin. If you have fine lines, wrinkles and dry skin don't skip this fantastic moisturiser. I'd definitely buy this again during the winter months.

This moisturiser is excellent, because of the ruby crystal which enhance the radiance of the skin. Its hydrating and it really calms my skin down, making it feel relaxed. I prefer this during the winter and the refining moisturiser in hotter months.
The smell is great, the texture is nice, this is my perfect moisturiser!
