Today we focus on the different Omorovicza bases within the range: Our silicone free Complexion Corrector SPF 20 is a three-in-one moisturiser, sunscreen (SPF20 protection) and primer. It invigorates your skin, bringing luminosity and radiance to all skin types whilst also covering imperfections, creating an even skin-tone, brightening and soothing sensitive skin. It contains a highly effective combination of mineral sunscreens zinc and titanium dioxide to provide SPF30 UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection, without blocking pores or causing irritation.. You can use the Mineral UV Shield SPF30 under your foundation or even under our Complexion Corrector to ensure full coverage. Smooth and resurface skin overnight with the Midnight Radiance Mask. How to make your makeup last all day?

We’ve all been there, you look in the mirror to find your makeup smudged all over your face. We reveal our golden tips to help your makeup last all day long. The first step to ensure you have flawless makeup throughout the day is to prep and take care of your skin. Start your morning by using a gentle cleanser, such as the Cleansing Foam, to remove excess oil and debris that can interfere with the performance of your foundation and concealer. Don't forget to refine skin’s texture on a daily basis with an AHA or BHA exfoliant. We recommend our Blue Diamond Resurfacing Peel and the Gentle Buffing Cleanser at night to prepare the skin for the next day. They will naturally get rid of built up dead skin cells and flakiness, ensuring your makeup will go on more evenly for a dewy appearance. For the concealer area, make sure your makeup is properly removed every evening and use a good eye cream. Apply a light layer of the Reviving Eye Cream every morning to soften the appearance of fine lines and keep the delicate eye contour hydrated, smooth and brightened. The Reviving Eye Cream will also act as a primer for your concealer, helping with the application and avoiding crease lines under your eyes. When it comes to applying your makeup, use a primer with SPF protection to smooth, hydrate and protect your skin. This will reduce the likelihood of your foundation slipping and settling into fine lines. Try the silicone free Complexion Corrector SPF 20, which combines all these benefits and helps to brighten skin tone. Applying a thin layer of this product will create a surface that is easier for foundation to glide across and adhere to. In addition, it is important to know your skin type. If you have oily skin, try to add a shine control moisturiser before applying your foundation, such as the Elemental Emulsion or Balancing Moisturiser. This can go a long way toward keeping excess shine at bay, so your makeup lasts longer. If you have dry skin, do not use a back-and-forth or rubbing motion, as it will leave you with spotty coverage. Try to prepare your skin with a nourishing moisturiser such as the Intensive Hydralifting Cream and pat the concealer and foundation in place with your finger, brush or beauty blender. Another trick which really helps, is to carry blotting paper with you at all times to remove any excess oil that would normally cause makeup to slip and dissipate. And finally, spray the Queen of Hungary Mist as soon as you finish your look. It will help to hold your makeup together for a longer time.

Why you should be using a primer?

Primers are formulas which are applied underneath your makeup. They have a number of benefits for the skin: Primers have anti-ageing properties. Our Silicone Free Complexion Corrector for examples contain SPF 20 which ensures you have daily protection from UV rays. Primers protect against UV damage and they improve the texture of the skin. The Complexion Corrector also contains zinc to calm any irritation or redness. Primers have a blurring effect as they help ‘airbrush’ the skin. A smoother complexion subsequently ensures your make-up lasts longer. Primers minimize and seal pores. Primers mattify the skin to remove shine. Marine exopolysaccharide in the Elemental Emulsion reduces shine by absorbing and trapping excess sebum. Primers are fully hydrating. Our Complexion Corrector is made with hyaluronic spheres to ensure your skin is moisturised before applying any makeup or other skincare products. In a nutshell - primers are smoothing, concealing, protecting and prepping your skin for the rest of your skincare routine. If you don’t currently use a primer within your skincare routine, now’s the time to start!

Backstage Beauty Secrets

Omorovicza was backstage at a number of shows at London Fashion Week to help get runway ready with a selection of products to prep and perfect the models skin. We reveal which products the make-up team used backstage at Richard Malone. It all begins with the base and applying Omoressence prepares the skin for further treatment by helping to attract and retain moisture which also helps makeup to last longer. Makeup artists massaged in the Illuminating Moisturiser in soft, circular motions to deliver a silky and luminous glow ready for makeup application. To then create the natural, dewy look, a light layer of liquid foundation was brushed on and blended all over with cream highlighter amply pressed to the top of the top of the cheek bones. The Queen of Hungary Mist was spritzed to set everything in place. The Perfecting Lip Balm was also applied to give extra shine and amplify the bold red lip look. Another backstage beauty tip is to dab the balm to the top of the cheeks, eyelids and down the nose to act as a natural highlighter. To finish, the Firming Body Oil polished limbs for a top to toe glow.
