Botanicals Series

To celebrate our Botanicals campaign we have highlighted the key floral ingredients within our skincare range.

Mallow Flower Extract
Mallow flower, also known as a ‘Swiss Alps flower,’ has healing and anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the skin. It creates a protective barrier to help reduce moisture loss. You can find this ingredient in our Hydra Melting Cleanser.

Orange Blossom
Orange blossom has been used in fragrances for years, but it also has a number of benefits for the skin. The flower helps to tone and soothe the skin whilst reducing irritation and redness. It also has the capability to soften the skin. You can find Orange Blossom in our Queen of Hungary Mist and Thermal Cleansing Balm.

Rose Geranium Essential Oil
Rose Geranium helps to minimize the appearance of wrinkles because of its natural tensor effect, slowing the effects of ageing. In addition, it is a natural astringent and subsequently heals damaged skin and inflammations. This ingredient can be found in our Miracle Facial Oil and Hydra Melting Cleanser.

Rosemary Oil
Rosemary improves the regeneration of skin cells, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improving skin’s texture. You can find this ingredient in our Firming Body Oil.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil
Sea buckthorn berry contains the richest source of Omega 7 in the world, this is one of the most powerful anti-ageing ingredients. The orange berry helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as combating the loss of elasticity and firmness. It also contains Vitamin C and E which boosts collagen production and protects the skin against environmental stress. Our Hydra Melting Cleanser and Miracle Facial Oil contain this powerful ingredient.

White Lupin
White lupin increases cellular growth, helping to revitalise and re-energise the skin. This flower is among the most widely cultivated plants of the lupin family and has been known for its properties for the skin for over 3,000 years. You can find this flower in our Cleansing Foam and Radiance Renewal Serum.

Chicory Root
Chicory root is a natural anti-inflammatory and a great source of beta-carotene, which helps to stimulate collagen production, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As a result, skin appears plumper and more hydrated. You can find this ingredient in our Gold Eye Lift.

Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
Roman chamomile has been used throughout history for multiple purposes. Ancient Romans used the oil for mental clarity and courage during the war. For skincare however, the essential oil helps to reduce dryness and calm irritated skin. Our Hydra Melting Cleanser and Firming Body Oil contain this botanical ingredient.

Rosehip Oil
Rich in Omega 3 and 6 and vitamin A and C, Rosehip Oil is packed with antioxidants and anti-ageing properties, boosting and lifting the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, as it is a natural source of essential fatty acids, it helps to lock moisture onto skin. You can find it in our Miracle Facial Oil.

Rosewater has a number of benefits for the skin. It helps to maintain the skin’s PH balance and controls excess oil. The flower also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne and eczema. There is Rosewater in the Queen of Hungary Mist.

Jasmine is known for its aromatic properties (tea, fragrances…) however it can also be beneficial for the skin. The white flowers protects and nourishes the skin. It has antiseptic properties and subsequently fights bacteria. You can find jasmine in the scent of the Cleansing Foam and Thermal Cleansing Balm.

Lavender is extremely beneficial for the skin including those with acne and eczema troubles. The aromatic herb has antiseptic and inflammatory properties, subsequently relieving the symptoms of those with skin conditions. It also detoxifies the skin, as it contains powerful antioxidants to fight pollutants on the skinThere is lavender in the scent of some of our products: Cleansing Milk, Illuminating Moisturiser, and Omoressence.
