How to transition your skincare from Winter to Spring

April 20th, 2018

After months of freezing cold temperatures, blistering winds, snow and sleet, it is finally beginning to feel like spring has finally sprung. With warmer temperatures and a little more sunlight, it’s important to reassess and adapt your skincare routine to the change of seasons. Below, we share our top product recommendations to get you get ready for the brighter days ahead.

During winter, skin becomes dry and dull so using a body exfoliator such as the Gold Sugar Scrub will slough away dead skin cells and will leave your complexion smooth, radiant and ready for your summer wardrobe. The fair trade sugar cane will refine the texture of your skin whilst gold helps to heal any micro-damage and will leave you glowing.

During warmer months our skin tends to hold more moisture so as a general rule you can swap out heavy creams for lighter forms of moisturising products. Try the Elemental Emulsion which is a lightweight oil-free lotion or the Magic Moisture Mist which is a refreshing blend of 20% oils and 80% Hungarian Thermal Water.

It goes without saying that SPF is a necessity to combat harmful UV rays and adding this into your daily regime is essential to protect your skin. Try the Mineral UV Shield, an SPF30 and also contains light reflecting minerals to blur pores and gives a matte finish allowing for perfect makeup application on top.

Get Ready to Glow

The winter months can leave our skin feeling dull, pasty and longing for that golden summer tan. But with summer still slightly out of reach or if you would prefer to avoid UV exposure you can get a natural, healthy glow with Glam Glow, our citrus scented self-tanner.
