Digital Project & Operations Manager

Omorovicza Cosmetics is a premium skincare Brand with a global presence. Currently looking to recruit a Digital Project & Operations Manager.

Based: Budapest, Hungary

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Director


The Omorovicza journey begins over 2,000 years ago, when the healing properties of Hungary’s thermal waters were discovered, and the first thermal baths were built.

The secret to why Hungarian thermal waters have such remarkable healing properties lies in the unique geological features of the region. Here the earth’s crust is thinner, so waters absorb beneficial minerals more effectively as they journey to the surface.

Miraculous healings led to the building of 1,000 thermal baths in Hungary, 100 in Budapest alone.

It was in Budapest, in the 1800’s, that the Omorovicza family built a beautiful thermal bath the Rácz Fürdo, on the site of an Ottoman bath, itself built in the 1560s on a medieval healing spring renowned for its curative properties.

And it was at the Racz that Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza first observed the revitalising effect of the healing waters on their skin.

This role will suit a motivated mid-level project manager with a blend of digital operations and service management experience. In addition to holding ownership for planning and executing end to end delivery of digital/ecommerce projects, the Digital Production & Operations manager will support the wider digital team with day to day trading operations whilst also managing the support & incident management processes with third party vendors.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with both the technology and process challenges associated with supporting rapid growth in a digital function.


  • In depth understanding of both agile and traditional project management principles with the ability to adapt these where necessary in an environment of evolving maturity.
  • Experience of managing multi location and multi discipline web development teams.
  • Demonstratable experience managing a blend of technically driven and UX/UI driven digital/ecom projects end to end.
  • This covers full lifecycle management from requirements capture to estimating, executing and project closure.
  • Understanding of ecommerce trading operations in a B2C environment.
  • Demonstratable experience managing and supporting BAU operations including incident management, taking lead on resolution of critical issues where required.
  • Experience of managing an end to end web re-platform will be a distinct advantage, as will any exposure to the Magento platform.


  • Understanding of multiple analysis and requirements capture techniques.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management concepts.
  • Understanding of Lean principles.
  • Able to foster an environment of continuous improvement, contributing and leading process improvement initiatives.
